We are looking for a positive, driven, self-motivated and outgoing person to join our awesome retail store team with an immediate start date preferred.

The Outpost is well known for our great customer service, welcoming nature to people from all demographics and wonderful community spirit which to us form the foundations of our retail store.

The Role:
You will be primarily working in our new gaming area in our refreshment area so a knowledge of working in food and beverage would be preferred (but not essential as all training will be provided). Duties in this area would include serving drinks and snacks to customers, cash handling, and cashing up.

You will also be given the opportunity to cross over into the store and work alongside other team members on the shop floor supporting customers with queries and providing the excellent level of service people know The Outpost for.

The other part of the role will consist of working on the Reload Scheme handling customer enquiries and handling new submissions, so versatility and strong ability to work independently is essential. A strong knowledge of Games Workshop products is also a must for this part of the role, you need to know your Squig Herds from your Stormsurges. After a period of training, you will work for periods independently with office and management support.

The role is Part Time (20 Hours) and is based on the following rota
Tuesday 14:15pm – 22:15pm (8 Hours)
Saturday 14:00-20:00 (6 Hours)
Sunday 12:00 – 18:00 (6 Hours)
This rota is not flexible and only candidates that can work the above hours should apply.

Team benefits include:
Annual pay rises
Staff Discount
Team Socials

As a company we have an incredibly high retention rate with a strong ethos of working to support team members and accommodate their needs.

If this sounds like a role you would relish, then email you CV and cover letter to [email protected] – applications close on the 16th of Feb 2025 (this may be brought forward if a suitable candidate is found).
